Well done Heather, I like your attention to detail for this subject with a nice bokeh

Thank you very much, Clifford. I was so happy to get this opportunity.

You really did a fantastic job focusing on that cute little guy Heather. He stands out nicely against the background. You wouldn’t know that was a power pole…very nice dof. Sorry it took a few days to comment I have been away.

Thank you so much, Debra, your comments are always appreciated. What I'll remember best about this photo is that even on the gloomiest day something special can turn it around, like this little guy did.

What a beautyful shot Heather. Like so much the colour mix of white sky, The pink tree and the yellow warbler. Yes, it's hard to have them freeze for a shot. So your photo is a nice reward.

Heather Mellon

Thank you so much, Yves, always appreciated. I was working against the light here but the power pole in the background provided a welcome touch of contrast. The warblers will be heading south soon and I'm going to miss them.

Description
Just managed to capture the little yellow warbler as he passed through the dead branches of the honeysuckle bush. It was a really gloomy day outside but I felt lucky to finally get this opportunity since they don't often slow down for photo ops when they're zooming across the yard.
